Stefanie helped me tremendously with a knee injury and some other issues I was dealing with. My knee improved substantially, as well as the other issues, plus there were nice bonuses like more energy and improved sleep. Stefanie is very knowledgeable, compassionate and takes the time to make sure concerns are addressed, questions answered and she explains everything thoroughly. I cannot recommend her services highly enough!
Thank you, Stef!

I injured my shoulder/upper arm in January after a fall on ice. I went to urgent care where an MD assured me that no bone was broken via a conventional x-ray, despite significant pain. The doctor offered no referral for follow-up care. I went home and searched online for home-grown physical therapy solutions and followed a regime of suggested exercises. My chiropractor also offered assistance with kinesiology taping as well as muscle therapy, which helped initially. After a couple of months I had no further improvement in pain, movement or range of motion. I was "stuck". I decided to try acupuncture. After the first session I had immediate relief but continued with it for several more treatments until I felt sufficient improvement in pain, strength, range of motion, and overall movement. Stefanie applied a combination of gentle, holistic, acupuncture techniques that achieved amazing results!
In addition, it was a relaxing and soothing experience!
I am a believer!

About two years ago, one day I was working outside doing yard work when I suddenly experienced severe pain in the muscles/tendons around my right elbow. I never seek medical attention, so figured it would gradually heal on its own because I knew the medical community's solution would be surgery. My chiropractor determined that it was "tennis elbow" and suggested I wear a brace. I wore that for months and it seemed to help and feel better over time, but never really healed. Along with intermittent severe pain, I experienced unexpected weakness and lack of control when I would try to lift something and then immediately drop it. My chiropractor recommended acupuncture. Since I had waited so long I knew there would be no immediate relief, and Stefanie warned me that it would likely not be a quick-fix. I stuck with the weekly treatments for 4 months. There was gradual improvement with each visit to the point where I was able to resume normal activity with that arm and no longer experienced the pain and sudden lack of control. I was able to cut back to every-other week, then every-third week for another 4-6 months. After almost a year, there is still a hint of discomfort, but I do not have any of the symptoms and loss of control that I once had. Stefanie truly cares and worked to resolve my issue. She uses a variety of techniques - acupuncture, cupping, and moxa. I appreciate her honesty, and especially enjoyed the gua-sha! She is 5-stars in my book!

I woke up one morning with Bell's Palsy and sought acupuncture care after my MD's prognosis was 80% recovery over 8-10 months. I didn't have time for that!! After approximately 6-8 sessions of acupuncture over 4 weeks, I considered myself 100% recovered. There was gradual but consistent improvement with each visit. Of course, when I returned for my follow-up visit to my MD, he could not acknowledge that acupuncture was responsible for such dramatic recovery. I'll take 6 weeks over 8 months any time - nothing short of a miracle at the hand of an acupuncturist! Stefanie listens, studies and recognizes the techniques to use to get results!
Also, there is absolutely no reason to fear the needles - they are so fine you barely notice.
